Hello and thanks so much for checking out the blog! The whole mission of this blog is to share my journey towards reaching and maintaining a balanced lifestyle, both physically and mentally, in hopes of motivating and inspiring readers to do the same.  Enjoy recipes to keep your body full and effectively fueled, along with new ways of approaching health, fitness and life entirely from myself and other like minded individuals. 

People tend to rush through life, constantly stressed, tired, and living a life less than that which they dreamed of.  People simply aren't reaching their full potential, dreaming of wants and goals but failing to make their dreams reality, aimlessly wandering through life with no definite direction or living with too much fear to even chase their dreams.  Between family, work, and the various other demands faced on the daily basis in today's world, it can be extremely difficult to stay balanced.  Life doesn't have to be this way though! Learn to conquer the challenges you face by living fully in all aspects of your life. 

What does a FULL life entitle you ask?  There are a few areas to put focus on.  The mind, the body, and the food you consume.  Learn to reprogram and control the habits of your mind.  You have to live with a mentality that forever grows, evolves and learns.  Along with a managed mind our bodies must be balanced through conscious choices of the food we consume & regular movement.  This doesn’t mean eating a strict diet or exercising like a mad man. It's all about moderation here.  With these two aspects, brings heightened energy, motivation and more time spent actually enjoying life.


(FULL) Recipes
The key to a healthy body and mind starts from the source.  We are what we eat.  For a fully operating body physically and mentally, enjoy some of my favorite recipes and nutritional tips for the busy lifestyle, focused on balanced, fully fueled whole food meals.  I have a strong love for food and the science behind it so I'll try to incorporate as much nutritional background as possible into the posts, but do your own research as well.

 
(FULL) body
For the body to operate at maximum potential, one can't neglect taking care of their body.  The body is your vehicle and the last thing needed is lost potential just because your vehicle isn't working at its best.  In order to keep the body working in full effect, it must be fueled correctly with the proper nutrients from a balanced diet AND it must be regularly exercised and moved to keep everything running smoothly and effectively.  To get your body in prime condition, enjoy posts on ways to get the body moving without the use of a gym.  Yes, no gym.  Gyms can not only be expensive but in my experience, they can also make working out more of a chore than a fun experience.  Plus there is no excuse not to get moving when you can do everything at your own home and get just as good, if not better results for next to no money.  
 
(FULL) mind
Another area which people often neglect is the importance of mental health!  This part is crucial, I cannot stress this enough.  Some people get so into a workout regime that they forget to strengthen and balance their mind.  Your body can only take you so far, but the mind has endless limits.  It has been said that humans only utilize a small percent of their actual brain capacity.  Bring that capacity level to full new heights.  There is always more to learn, ways to further evolve your mind. Put in some work!  With a full and managed mind comes realized potentials, dropped egos, new perspectives, gratitude, emotional maturity, fears conquered and endless opportunities to propel life forward. :)

Thanks again for checking out the site!  My name is Brianna, Bri for short.  I grew up most of my life on an island.  Not the tropical type which probably first comes to mind, but a small island off the coast of Seattle in the upper left corner of the US, known as the great Pacific Northwest.  Beautiful yes, but no palm trees, sandy beaches, and 80 degree weather here year round.  Instead lots of evergreen trees, rainy days, and many mountains to explore. :)

I love food, adventures, and am always looking to learn something new.  Health and fitness has always been an interest of mine. I love finding new ways to get active.  From Pilates and yoga, to kickboxing, weights, hiking, swimming and dancing, there really are endless possibilities! I don't claim to be an expert, but I always try to remain in a state of learning and growing..  Don't take my word, or anyone's word for that matter for granted, without doing your own research and exploring as well. Anything is possible with enough willpower, no matter what the situation, there are ways to take ahold of your health to become the fullest version of yourself possible and I am on a mission to prove it.. ;)
